As the spaceship descended towards the lush, green planet, the human colonists could barely contain their excitement. For months they had been traveling through space, dreaming of the new world that awaited them. They were a diverse group, comprised mostly of families, scientists, and farmers. Their mission was clear: to establish a new home on this untamed planet, rich with resources and potential for a thriving civilization.
But they were not alone. Unbeknownst to the humans, Vrak’thal, distant relatives of the Shadowclaw, had set their sights on this new planet, eager to claim it as their own. The aliens were a militaristic species, with advanced technology and no intent of sharing the planet.
The first encounter between the humans and aliens was disastrous. The humans had been unprepared for the Vrak’thal’s ruthlessness. Many were wounded or killed, leaving only a handful of survivors struggling to endure in the dense jungle. Among them was Rambold Patton, a brave and resourceful military officer who lost an eye in the conflict. He was able to inform the human HQ of what had happened and ask for support.
Rambold’s plea was disregarded, as the leaders of the human race decided against escalating the conflict with the Vrak’thal. Hearing of what had transpired, Commander Patton, Rambold’s brother, couldn’t just let it be. Risking being charged for insubordination, Commander Patton gathered his squad of elite soldiers to rescue his brother. Led by him, the elite force landed on the jungle planet, thrilled to hunt the hunters.
